Website Analysis with Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics 4, a web analysis service provided by Google LLC, with user consent. The relevant controllers are Google Ireland Limited, Google Building Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland, for users from the EU/EEA and Switzerland. Google Analytics 4 applies IP anonymization by default, meaning your IP address is shortened immediately upon interacting with this website. Only in rare cases will your full IP be transferred to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. Google claims that IP data transferred via Google Analytics will never be combined with other Google data. Google Analytics 4 is only activated with your consent via the cookie banner and can be deactivated at any time through the cookie settings.
The processed data includes usage data such as page views, website interactions, general location, and visit duration; and communication data such as shortened IP addresses, user agents, language preferences, and screen resolutions. The purpose of this data processing is for Google to evaluate your website usage on behalf of the website operator, compile reports on activity, and analyze site performance. This data processing is legal, based on your consent under Art. 6 para.1 p.1 lit. a GDPR and § 25 para. 1 p.1 TDDDG.
The recipients of this data are Google Ireland Limited, Google LLC, and Alphabet Inc. Your website usage information is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA, an action legitimized by the recent adequacy decision of the European Commission on July 10, 2023, recognizing Google LLC's certification under the EU-US Privacy Framework. Regarding data storage, all data linked to cookies is automatically deleted after a specified period, which is monthly for data that has reached its retention period, and up to 2 years for Google Analytics cookies.
For more information on Google Analytics' terms of use and Google's privacy policy, visit Google Policies and Google Analytics Support.
Google Analytics uses "cookies," text files stored on the visitor's computer, to help analyze website usage. Information generated by the cookie about the website use (including the shortened IP address) is usually transmitted to a Google server and stored there.
Google Analytics is used exclusively with the "_anonymizeIp()" extension on this website. This ensures IP address anonymization by shortening it and excludes direct personal reference. The IP address is shortened by Google within EU member states or in other states party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area before transmission. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be sent to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. The IP address transmitted by the browser in the context of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data.
On behalf of the website operator, Google will use this information to evaluate website use, compile reports on website activity, and provide other services related to website and internet use to the website operator (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR). The legitimate interest in data processing lies in optimizing this website, analyzing its use, and adapting content. Users' interests are sufficiently protected by pseudonymization.
Google LLC is certified under the Privacy Shield (listing available here) and ensures an adequate level of data protection on this basis. Data sent and linked to cookies, user IDs (e.g., User-ID), or advertising IDs are automatically deleted after 50 months. Data deletion occurs automatically once a month when its retention period is reached.
Website visitors can prevent Google Analytics from collecting data by adjusting the cookie settings for this website. Data collection and storage of the IP address and data generated by cookies can also be objected to at any time with future effect. The corresponding browser plugin can be downloaded and installed from the following link: Google Opt-out.
Visitors can prevent Google Analytics from collecting data by clicking here. An "opt-out cookie" will be set, ensuring that data is no longer collected when the visitor visits the website.
For more information on data usage by Google, settings, and objection options, please see Google's privacy policy (Google Policies) and the settings for displaying Google ads (Google Ad Settings).
Spam Protection with Google reCAPTCHA
We use Google reCAPTCHA in forms on our website to check whether the data entered in the forms is from human visitors or automated programs ("bots"). This tool automatically analyzes visitor behavior as soon as they interact with the website, using various information such as IP address, time spent, and mouse movements. Processed data includes usage data like the visited website, date and time of access, and mouse movements, as well as communication data like IP addresses, browser types, and operating systems. This processing targets website visitors and online service users. The primary purpose is to prevent misuse of our contact form and enhance security. The legal basis for this is our legitimate interest under Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. f GDPR. The data recipients are Google Ireland Ltd, located at Google Building Gordon House, Barrow St, Dublin 4, Ireland, (Google Privacy Policy), and our website hosting provider. While your personal data is processed within the EU, the retention period for the processed data is determined by Google Ireland Limited.
